Amazed that I just did that, I stand back with small smile and revel briefly in victory. Then I hear that the ship has landed, and collect my belongings from the room I'm in and my room. On the way, I notice that Dwiin is standing there, as well as Staadnau. Leaving the ship, I search around, looking for our contact who will brief us on what our mission is.

Look for the contact in the spaceport to get our mission.

After hearing the ship land, I begin to make my way back towards the airlock and space port. Using my mental map, this proves to be an easy task. I contemplate whether or not it's a good idea to meet up with Dwiin....
"This so called rift might have some answers..... perhaps I should investigate. However, I can see that he doesn't trust me. and when they find out I'm not actually part of the mission, things might get messy... for now, I'll just slip away and explore the space port on my own." I think to myself.
As I get to the airlock joining the ship to the port, I hear some voices. To my surprise, It's Dwinn and someone else.
"It appears that I won't be going on my own after all..." I think.
"Oh, Hello there Dwinn, I was looking for you. Now that the ship has landed, I assume that we'll be carrying out the mission immediately right?" I say to him

After the initial embarrassment of getting my gun sling stuck on the door, I begin to ask Brom what is going on and what the plan is now. Seemingly Brom ignores all questions and gathers his stuff and walks off with a smile on his face, a bit peeved I begin to make my way though the line at the entrance to the ship, to get off the ship. Once off the ship I begin to take in my surrounding, as per usual with me a bad habit that happens no matter where I go, I notice that we are defiantly on the planet Tarteris though admittedly I had not worked on this particular planet for fairly lengthy time and the space port had changed from what was a couple of simplistic buildings with a shop here and there into what seemed to be a fully functional town with everything from weapons to food sales to antiques. I took this in with a mixture of confusion and distrust, how did this happen the last time he had been here, about 5 years previous, the guards had been so vigilant and static in their attitude that the space port "town" at that time had been for guards only and that they didn't want it big or extravagant so what the hell had happened? After this little amount of reminiscent I began to make my way towards where the guard tower had been years previous. It was true that many of the Tarteris guards knew me and my existence as a Mersk and a killer but many of them didn't care surprisingly as much as it might be one of the guards in fact had been a Mersk at one point and was trained by me. This person became one of the best Mersk I had ever known consequently I had become friends with him and after he had left and became a Tarteris guard got into the habbit of having a drink with him whenever I was on Tarteris.this is what I had decided I would do now the mission could wait I am sure there is nothing to important hanging on this I am sure otherwise the would have hired more people brought more equipment etcetera, etcetera after all they were the fucking government so there must be nothing to important riching the old guard tower now I was surprised to notice a new sign that hadn't been there years previous reading "Personal Only Any Non-Complaints will be shot" after this grim warning I noticed a man curled up in a ball hugging a whiskey bottle to his chest and muttering something like "I was respectable once, I was the head of the guard once you know" this site had obviously not changed in the passing years there were always drunks around this place claiming to be the captain of the guard or some other important member. but now that I looked at him I noticed he did look familiar, I think he actually was the guard captain the last time I had been here if that had happened and well this(gestures to the world around him) what else had changed? I go inside the tower now and see that there is a women I do not recognize at the front desk, I suddenly have a sudden animal instinct to flee knowing that this is probably the best one to follow I flee back into the streets and run back in what I think is the space port's direction, still with the instinct that I am in danger of capture or worse much, much worse.

As i clean my fur to the best of my abilities, Maarsah continues to check his belongings. He pulls out his flask and cusses. He says its gotten sand in it, and the booze is ruined. I offer to drink it, being absolutely desperate to drink, but he simply growls at me. I sigh and check my water. It has a leak, so I drink the remaining water and toss it off to the side, now useless.

Sighing inwardly at the lack of success, I turn my attention to Dwiin. "As far as I know, he isn't part of the expidition," I say in a low voice, being careful to not let the newcomer hear me. "He could be useful, keep an extra for combat and infiltration. But if push comes to shove, we kill him and leave his body in the desert." I say in a tone so cold, it could have frozen oxygen. I then return to observing the spaceport.

Search the spaceport for any one of my contacts that could trade me information about the situation.

AS we approached town, Maarsah is surrounded by guards. Not wanting any part in it, I hang back to watch the outcome, but the smell of booze in the air leads me to a stall selling cheap, strong Ale. I don't have much on me, just some Ryklup meat and fruit berries, but decide try my luck at haggling.

Roll is to barter with shop keeper for as much ale as possible. Inventory is 3lbs of the meat and 5 handfuls of berries.

With a resigned sigh, I sit down and decide to relax for a few minutes. The contact was told to show up at our ship when it landed, so he should get here eventually.

With my previous annoyance gone after looking at the poorly equiped smucks trying to capture me I quietly say to my self this will be easily and throw the first blow to the guard to my left than prepare for there response while deciding to keep this quiet and clean no guns and no blades the last thing I need is the guards looking for a murder

As I began back towards the space port I look over to see a man wearing a dress outfit with a hood, gloves and black dress shoes as well as caring a small pack, begin to attack guard I assume that are attempting to arrest him, naturally being the person I am I turn my back quickly away from the situation and act like nothing is happening
