WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I SEE A UFO IN TTS:
1. What size is it?
-Small
-Medium
-Large
2. If:
SMALL: Attack w/ Skyranger.
MEDIUM: Attack w/ Skyranger.
LARGE: Ignore. Fucking Terror ship. I'm getting close to a solution to that.
3. If Skyranger Attack Unsuccessful (ie. everyone dies): Attack w/ Interceptors. Shoot the fucker down.
4. If UFO crashes, Attack w/ Skyranger.
5. Profit.
EDIT: 6. Buy more soldiers because all those rookies died.

XCOM TTS Status update: Almost done all of my tech, as well as got UFO production rate and alien breeding rate almost doubled. IE still shooting down my cannon fodder scouts, though there was one destroyer mission(new type of ship in TTS, pretty much smaller/weaker version of battleship), and i slightly overestimated it's air to air attack, so IE got him down too, though finally got to try cyberdisks and blaster launchers.
Also suddenly my floaters shoot fairly accurately and sectoids fail to throw grenades exploding themselves in the process.
XCOM TTS Status update: Almost done all of my tech, as well as got UFO production rate and alien breeding rate almost doubled. Run and gun the commander who is controlling him. The alloy cannon is a wonderful thing.
Also, killed a berserker on a panic critical headshot.

XCOM TTS Status update: have'nt did much today, just one snakemen destroyer crash site.
Mission started with one of my snakemen medics stunning 3 of xcom with reaction fire as they exited Skyranger, then continued as usual until my chryssalids ambushed IE's troops (IE asked me to post his reaction from skype so here we go!).
Then he started retreating to Skyranger while my slow snakemen was trying to shoot his troops down, though have not killed much. Guess tomorrow IE will be reattempting that crash site.
Have not got chance to start awesomeness today though, tomorrow as well i guess.
Edit: fixed number because Blackstar is being ninja apparently.
Edit mk2: So we started a game of tts, IE went to try to deal with crash site again, and guess what? My only surviving blaster launcher snakemen from ufo decided to randomly spawn near Skyranger while facing exit of it! So next second IE's troops step out, snakemen with blaster launcer reaction fires, killing 7 people outright. And since IE got only one xcom soldier left he retreats, i don't even get a turn . Quickest battlescape victory ever.

@Colonel Longhena FUCK when you say "good position for once" I expect something like "hey I'm in buildings and the UFO instead of out in the open" not "hey I've got a blaster launcher pointed at you and you will instantly lose if you so much as poke your head out"

I know. In another note, I am now on the final mission. My sniper/psionic is evil. Mind controlled a heavy floater. That was amusing.
Also, laser S.H.I.V.s are REALLY powerful. Especially the flying ones.
