Blinking away the sleep from my eyes, only to find Staadnau in my room, I yawn and stretch. "So, any luck getting into trouble?" I ask with a smile and a mischievous twinkle in my eye. "Found some interesting books on Nercomancy, but not much else." I say as I settle in to do some brief meditation.

Eventually, I lose my train of thought, and forget to look where I'm going. I trip over somebody, then am aggressively shoved away, which reminds me I should really watch where I'm going.
"Vokun? What the hell are you doing here?!" He exclaims.
I look up from another facefull of sand to see Maarsah getting a tray of wonderfully smelling food.
"Looking for you. You got dragged away before I could do anything, and then I found a bar, got some booze, was almost raped, found some cash and bought supplies." I responded, getting up, and pointing to my backpack when I mentioned supplies. I eyed his steak. "You wouldn't by any chance be willing to share any of that, would you....?"
Will Maarsah throw me some scraps? Plz?

In the midst of my meditation, I reply back to Staadnau. "Got it. Your call on this one, to be honest. If you think he would be a worthwhile addition to the expedition, I'm okay with taking him with us.

"Great, now what?" I say to myself as I find the communication equipment. Let's try this as I flip a prodomenent switch on the front. The equipment fizzed and hissed for a few seconds then went bang and started smoking. Maybe I should look for instructions.
