RtD Real Time Stratagy
********************READ THIS ENTIRE POST**********************
Okay so here is how this works you allways have 5 numbers/levels associated with your character/empire/homeland
Health
How close to being dead(you don't actually die but thats the concept) you are
Max Health
The maximum health you can have
fyi Health is shown as Health/Max Health
Empire
How big your empire(in essence how many battles you've wone)
Strategic Strength
How "good" your stratagy is(in this game its kinda like your attack)
Army Strength
How many people you have in your army(in this game its kinda like your defence)
Now you can do one of the following actions:
Stratagize
effects your Strategic Strength
Recruit
effects your Army Strength
Fortify
effects your Max Health
Help Homeland
effects your Health
Battle
if you want to battle someone
Each of these actions require a roll of a six sided die the are ranked as such
One 1
Epic Failure
Two 2
Failure
Three 3
Nothing OR Partial success
Four 4
Success
Five 5
Epic Success
Six 6
Overshot
Now typicly this means
Epic Failure
-2 from level/number
Failure
-1 from level/number
Nothing OR Partial Success
0 from level/numer
Success
+1 to level/number
Epic Success
+2 to level/number
Overshot
+2 to level/number -2 from other level/number
The only major exception is Battle which is as follows
Epic Failure
-2 from Empire but also if your Army Strength <(less than) your opponents Strategic Strength you lose 2 Health and your opponent gains 1 to Empire
Failure
-1 from Empire but also if your Army Strength <(less than) your opponents Strategic
Strength you lose 2 Health and your opponent gains 1 to Empire
Nothing OR Partial Success
0 from Empire but also if your Strategic Strength < your opponents Army Strength you lose 2 Health and your opponent gains 1 to Empire
Success
+1 to Empire but also if your Strategic Strength < your opponents Army Strength you lose 2 Health and your opponent gains 1 to Empire
Epic Success
+2 to Empire
Overshot
+2 to Empire -2 from Army Strength
Battle is the only way to attack in the game and there is no way to defend but depending on the roll of the die depends on how successful or how much the person fails at attacking you. You can fight each other but you can also fight a NPC/AI character/empire/homeland. The NPC/AI traits only have two traits that is Stratagy Strength and Army Strength these are decided buy taking your Empire/10(dividing by ten) and then *(multiply) by the role of a ten sided die
There are some what I call special items people that you can get at certain levels of certain things these include:
Stratagy Advisor
this give you a increase of to Stratagy Strength but costes from Army Strength and from Max Health
Wizard
this give you a increase of to Stratagy Strength but costes from Army Strength and from Max Health
Creature
this give you a increase of to Army Strength but costes from Stratagy Strength and from Max Health
Demon
this give you a increase of to Army Strength but costes from Stratagy Strength and from Max Health
Homeland walls
this give you a increase of to Max Health but costes from Army Strength and from Stratagy Strength
Homeland heaven
this give you a increase of to Max Health but costes from Army Strength and from Stratagy Strength
There are two last things that I should tell you about first is "dieing" mechanics basicly if your Health is 0 you return to the stats assigned in the begining of the game which are as follows:
Health: 10/10(this is your Max Health so I don't acutally define it)
Empire: 1
Stratagy Strength: 1
Army Strength: 1
the other thing is getting "natural disasters" basicly the ability to reset a player to the begining this happens when a player gets a Empire of 100(this isn't for sure needs testing)
Thats basicly how the game works now some rules that will be used in the game are:
listen to the GM
if you have a problem bring it up but if the GM says its not a problem forget it or leave
NO double posting
pretty simple one post
Don't be a dick AND Don't take anything personaly
first the game is that a game and second there should be a level of curtisy
Other things you should now are:
will be updated by the GM at least once a week but no more that once every two to three days

Re: RtD Real Time Stratagy
Looks OK, until you realize that a real-time strategy is real-time, and this is turn-based.
So it's turn-based strategy, not an RTS.
Just saying.
I'm in, of course.
Health: 10/10
Empire: 1
Strategy Strength: 1
Army Strength: 1
Strategize.

Re: RtD Real Time Stratagy
Name of Empire: The Dominion of Solaris
Leader: ...Solaris. It's a title, not a name.

Re: RtD Real Time Stratagy
Because nobody else seems to want to play I am going to update I realize that I said a shorter time frame but I was hoping for more people though people can join as we go along
so...
first with
so Solaris sits down in his tent on the battle field to strategize when a good freind of his walks in and proceeds to distract and completely wipe stratagy from his mind. -1 Strategy Strength
so
Health: 10/10
Empire: 1
Strategy Strength: 0
Army Strength: 1
as for
Roy sstarts sits down and manages to make up what strategics refer to as a mediocure battle plan +1 Stratgy Strength
so
Health: 10/10
Empire: 1
Strategy Strength: 2
Army Strength: 1
