Re: Natural Resources
okay so heres my solution
Enchanted Gold
- somewhat rare(about todays gold)
- durable
- maluable
- lights up near deposits
- varity of colors depending on the size of deposit
- heat/cool near other dposits
- good conductor
- heat/cool resilent
- can only be found in places with magi
that solve all the problems?

Magic*
Yeah, pretty much.
@Megaprr - Perhaps, rather than it appearing at the base of the crystals, the crystals form on it? (The other way around).
On a side note, what is the "base" of a spherical crystal?
...Can spherical crystals even form naturally?
Or is it a rough spherical shape (ex. 120-sided object)
Yeah, pretty much.

Re: Natural Resources
Technically nothing really spherical it just allot of very short straight sides that to us just appear curved

Re: Natural Resources
Well, yeah. Mathematically perfect spheres are impossible outside of...well, mathematics.
Re: Natural Resources
But the intire universe is based of mathematics are you saying that the rtd universe is not

Re: Natural Resources
Keep in mind, it's molecular structure is constantly shifting and changing. as for the shape, I think of them as spheres growing on walls. they are held by what ever it is that's surrounding it, replacing it. so, in a cave, they are held by the walls, and when removed, they leave behind a spherical hole.

No, I'm saying that you cannot make a perfect sphere in reality.
Quickedit: Well, not with atoms. Or relativity.

Hm...if their structure constantly shifts, wouldn't they come in many different shapes, as well as sizes?

Re: Natural Resources
no. their molecular structure changes, preventing them from being identified. but the molecules are generally balanced. It's not an exact sphere. but because it's always changing, you can't pinpoint a side.
unless you want them to.... but that complicates things...

Added 2 new materials, and tweaked Darkstone.
